First, don’t be deceived by the photos I took. When I went, it was nighttime, so the photos turned out a bit dark. However, the photos don’t do justice to the quality of the food.

In fact, Gusto Food and Wine is some of the best Italian food I’ve found in Kota Kinabalu. It’s all about quality, and it’s just nice when the chef himself attends to the diners, recommending dishes.

 The price is on the higher side, but believe me, it’s worth it! Every dish is just perfect.

1. Rigatoni Carbonara (guanciole) RM79.00

The creamy, thick sauce was set to blow my appetite away.

2. Pizza Parma Ham - RM110.00

Look at the generous toppings! We were devouring it and savoring every bite. Beside my table, I noticed a diner who ordered a pizza all for himself.

3. Spaghetti Aglio Olio Prawns- RM79.00

This was just moderate, but the prawn was the star. So fresh and big!

4. Tiramisu - RM19.00

Wrapping up the meal was their homemade tiramisu. Look simple but the taste was divine. Every bite was full of oomph and ahhh.

What a satisfying meal for the night.
