Reasonable priced Omakase at Hagi Japanese Cuisine, TTDI

Want to try Omakase but worried about the price? I have heard so much about how expensive Omakase can be - it can be priced from RM500 all the way to a thousand. Recently, I chanced upon this place, and truth be told, the price was pretty reasonable for Omakase.

I opted for Omakase Natsu Course, which cost me RM380. If you come for lunch, the Omakase is just priced at RM280.
What does the Omakase Natsu Course have to offer?

Zensai (Seasonal Appetizer)

Chawanmushi

Otsukuri (Seasonal Sashimi, 3 types)

Yakimono (Grilled Dish)

Nigiri (Nigiri Sushi, 7 types)

Makimono (Sushi Roll)

Shirumono (Soup of the day)

Homemade Dessert

Overall, if you are up for both raw and cooked dishes, you can certainly try this. But if you are not, then please tell the chef in advance.

Did I enjoy it?

I did, especially having to try fish cod sperm. Ewwww, it tasted like brain actually. The sashimi was fresh and the sushi was good. Initially, I thought they used brown rice but man, I was wrong. The rice was seasoned with akazu red vinegar, for a slight brown shade, but there was no vinegar taste.

So, give it a try today! Remember to do booking in advance.
