I chanced upon this new eatery during my recent trip to Melaka. It had been a year since my last visit, so spotting a new spot was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommended by the locals, we decided to drop by during lunch hour.
Here’s my verdict.
Both the steamed and roasted chicken were delicious—soft, juicy, and succulent. The only downside was that we were served chicken thigh, which had quite a few bones.
The claypot vegetables were incredibly appetizing. Sour and spicy, they were truly mouthwatering.
The chicken feet were enjoyable as well, with a hint of herbal aroma and flavor.
As for the braised egg and tofu, they were fairly average.
Will I return?
Yes—but I wouldn’t order the chicken rice balls again. I’m not particularly fond of the rice shaped into balls and would much rather have plain chicken rice instead.
