Poh Piah Lwee—the name says it all. You come here expecting good poh piah, and that’s exactly what they’re known for. Before you visit, though, here’s a heads-up: their poh piah isn’t cheap.
One roll costs RM5, and it includes tiny bits of pork lard, which enhance both the flavor and aroma.
Truth be told, my favorite dishes at Poh Piah Lwee weren't the poh piah. What truly won me over were the rojak and Nyonya laksa.
Both dishes were incredibly flavorful and completely satisfied my taste buds.
The Nyonya laksa was rich, fragrant, and generously served with fresh cockles.
As for the rojak, the paste was the real star - bold, well-balanced, and absolutely delicious.
Will I return?
Absolutely!!
