Kuih-Muih FInds in Blue Dahlia, Seksyen 17, Petaling Jaya

Seksyen 17 is a place I usually avoid due to the difficulty of finding parking. However, the area has grown significantly, with plenty of eateries popping up nearby.

My first stop was Blue Dahlia. It was lunchtime, and to my surprise, a short queue had formed at the entrance. Thankfully, most people were there to buy kuih-muih, so I managed to grab a table and start browsing the menu.

I loved the caricature-style drawings—they were so enticing that I wanted to try everything! Since I had just finished a heavy lunch, I decided to indulge in only their signature kuih-muih.

Upon recommendation, I went with kuih talam, kuih seri muka, ubi bingka, and onde-onde. At the same time, I ordered a bowl of Mango Pomelo Sago

The kuih-muih were absolutely adorable—almost too pretty to eat! I started with kuih talam, and voilà, it was delicious. Not overly sweet, just the right balance. Kuih seri muka quickly became another favorite, while ubi bingka and onde-onde were more on the average side.

As for the Mango Pomelo Sago, it had a unique twist with the addition of pulut rice, making it a satisfyingly filling dessert.

Will I go there again?

Absolutely! Next time, I’d love to try their local cuisine as well.
