Jeng, Jeng, Jeng!

Lately, I’ve found myself drawn to Seksyen 17—so much so that I visited not once, but twice this week. This time, my destination was Grub by Ahong and Friends. 

Parking was relatively easy, thankfully. I’ve learned a neat trick—avoid the lunch crowd by arriving an hour earlier. That strategy paid off! 

I was the first diner in the restaurant and found myself a little lost when deciding what to order. Then, something caught my eye—a leaf plate that came with a shockingly high price tag! Curiosity got the best of me for a moment, but I decided against trying it. (Watch this to know what I meant)

Instead, I started my meal with my all-time favorite: a hot latte. A comforting way to begin the day. 

For an appetizer, I opted for garlic bread, which turned out to be the perfect choice—it was fragrant and absolutely delicious.

Moving on to the mains, I opted for their steak. At first glance, it seemed simple, but the steak itself was outstanding—fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor. Paired with their homemade signature sauce, it was a total winner. The greens were refreshingly crisp, and the mashed potatoes—with chunks of potato mixed in—were rich and satisfying. 

 What a lovely day to enjoy a great meal! 

Would I return? 

Well, if I ever find myself craving steak… absolutely!
