When I searched online, this place immediately stood out. Many people had been raving about it, so I decided to give it a try.
Thankfully, I went on a weekday after 10 a.m., avoiding the peak hours. Before entering the shop, you must first place your order and make payment. Once that’s done, you head inside to find a table, with a buzzer provided to alert you when your order is ready.
As soon as the Mee Hoon Kuih is prepared, they serve it directly to your table.
And voilà! This is the bowl of Mee Hoon Kuih—simple and soothing. I took my first bite and found the taste to be fairly average. However, the thickness of each piece was just perfect.
Would I return?
Well, if I am around that area, I don’t mind returning to this place for a bowl of Mee Hoon Kuih.
