Indulging in Culinary Delights at Gu Jin, Sheraton Kuching: A Yang Chow Fried Rice Revelation

Picture this: the elegant ambiance of the Sheraton Hotel in Kuching, Malaysia. Amidst the hushed conversations and soft lighting, there lies a hidden gem - the Chinese restaurant, Gu Jin. Within its four walls was an unexpected discovery with none other than the Yang Chow Fried Rice.

Yes, I know you guys will raise your eyebrows when I say this. But trust me, this dish defies expectations. As the fragrant aroma wafted across the room, my taste buds stirred in anticipation. The first bite was a revelation. Silence settled over the table as we savored each mouthful. Then, like a harmonious chorus, exclamations of ‘wow’ erupted. The fried rice was more than good. It was so appetizing.

Gu Jin has more to offer. Next was the Signature Honey-Glazed Chicken. Its thinly sliced, crispy ginger topping concealed the tender meat where it was bathed in a luscious sauce.

And then, we had the Superior Stock Spinach dish too. The soft, velvety spinach leaves amidst the thick broth were comforting, soothing, and divine.

We didn’t stop there. Three of us decided to explore further, ordering the Braised Ee Fu Noodles with Seafood. The taste was slightly lacking for this dish, so we added a dash of soy sauce and a sprinkle of chilies to enhance the taste.
