Maria's Steakhouse, 1Powerhouse: A Culinary Delight 

If you are a steak enthusiast, Maria’s Steakhouse needs no introduction. This establishment has become a go-to spot for those seeking a satisfying steak experience. While it’s true that a premium steak can easily cost hundreds of ringgit for a 200gm portion, the type of beef cut and beef plays a significant role in determining the price. Opting for Wagyu, for instance, will certainly elevate the cost.

However, there are moments when indulgence is warranted - whether you are celebrating small victories or special occasions anniversaries, and birthdays. And here’s the exciting news: Maria Steakhouse offers a set menu for two priced at just RM290. This delightful set includes a salad, soup, main dish, and dessert.

For the salad, there are two choices to savor. There is Apple & Kale Yoghurt Salad and the second is Orange & Baby Spinach Salad. Both these salads are just so delicious and refreshing.

For soup, there are two selections to choose from - pumpkin soup and mushroom soup. I tried both and their mushroom soup is the best. It’s rich, velvety, and utterly satisfying. On the other hand, the pumpkin soup didn’t quite win me over after a couple of sips.

For main dishes, there are three selections to choose from - the N.Z Baby Cutlets, Duo of Grilled Salmon and Butter Tiger Prawns, or Australian Hereford Grainfed Ribeye, 200-220gm. Seafood lovers can relish the delightful combination of grilled salmon and garlic butter tiger prawns. For the beef selection, you can upgrade to Australian Wagyu MB9 Ribeye, 230g by topping up RM280 or Australian Black Angus Ribeye MB2, 230g for an additional RM110.

After indulging so much, a scoop of ice cream awaits as the perfect dessert. You can choose from vanilla, Valrhona, rocher, and strawberry.
