Paradise Dynasty at Paradigm Mall

Woohoo, where would you bring your friends whom you have not met for years for lunch? Kopitiam? Or a nice Chinese restaurant that allows you to talk for hours? Instantly, this place rang the bell. Located in Paradigm Mall, Paradise Dynasty offers a wide selection of Chinese cuisine, including their famous 8 uniquely flavored Xiao Long Bao.

This is not my first time at Paradise Dynasty and I vow that their food quality is top-notch. Although it is slightly pricey, I think it’s worthwhile, given that the ambiance is pretty comfortable plus, the food is really good lah.

Even, my friends echoed that! Every time I brought new friends to this place, many will be wowed by the food. We would keep ordering till our table is full. Jeng!

So, what did we have this time?

1. 8-flavored xiao long bao

Comes in 8 flavors - original, ginseng, foie gras, black truffles, crab roe, cheese, garlic, and Szechuan, my favorite is always the original ones. Nevertheless, the presentation of the 8-flavors xiao long bao is quite an Insta-worthy shot, so, there it goes.

2. Fried Rice in Yang Zhou Style

A simple dish but it requires some skills in order to fire up a good plate of Yang Zhou Fried Rice that is filled with 'wok hei'. And here in Paradise Dynasty, it doesn't fail us but impresses us as much as we munch it down!

3. La Mian with Minced Meat and Mushroom Sauce (Dry)

The handmade La Mian is freshly made upon order. Diners can view it through their open kitchen, and you will be amazed at how skillful the chef is.

4. Pork Dumpling with Hot Chilli Oil

One of my favorites! Don’t be afraid of the name as really, the taste is not that spicy. In fact, it smells good and the pork dumpling is so juicy.

5. Deep Fried Diced Chicken in Szechuan Style

The diced chicken is well marinated – crispy and crunchy. Fried together with lots of peppercorns and dried chili plus a hint of their signature Sze Chuan sauce, we just couldn't stop our hands to dig for more chicken.

6. Spicy-fried prawns in spicy bean and tomato sauce

Enough of pork and chicken, we headed for some seafood dishes. The prawns come fresh with a succulent and juicy taste, wrapped with tomato sauce. It’s heavenly!

7. Steamed Salted Egg Yolk Custard with Lava Charcoal Bun
