After our Hatyaiexpedition, we embarked on a delightful journey to Penang, eager to savor its unique culinary offerings. Rather than sticking to the familiar Penang char kuey teow and oyster omelette, we decided to embrace Penang gastronomic adventure.
Here are three delectable dishes that you absolutely must try in Penang:
1. Penang Char Koay Kak:
A savory medley of stir-fried rice cakes, radish, and eggs, seasoned with fragrant spices. Don’t miss the crispy edges and the delightful interplay of flavors. And you must try it at this place, Kedai Kopi Seow Fong Lye and it opens in the morning.
2. Duck Meat Kuey Teow Thng:
A comforting bowl of flat rice noodles in a clear broth, generously topped with tender duck meat slices. Be sure to top it up with another plate of duck meat. Also, the broth is so rich in flavors and truly, you wouldn’t want to miss it. Where's the location? HERE
3. Peanut Biscuits:

Looking at my gastronomic adventures, many asked how I ensure that I have the right nutrients and at the same time, not feel exhausted with all the travelling. Well, it is all thanks to this.
Udo’s Oil
I find this unique. Imagine you can have the oil as it is, pairing your favorite food. Usually, I put a dash of Udo’s Oil on my steamed broccoli. For many who do not know, Udo’s Oil is plant-based fresh oil that provides essential fatty acids like ALA (Omega 3) and LA (Omega 6).
Saludynam
Oh man, as we grow older, it seems so important to maintain my bone mass while improving my sleeping quality. Thankfully, this Saludynam helps.
I see a slight improvement in my overall health after I started to take these two supplements for the past six months. I believe if I were to couple this intake with some light exercise, I could see the results better. Let’s see – give me till end of the year and I’ll share more.
