It's the last day of 2021 and it's definitely a year that is filled with lots of ups and downs. Regardless, one should wrap the year with a good note by at least having a feast today and pat your shoulders that you have survived and have achieved so many milestones. One of the places that you can call for celebration is South Sea Seafood at Shah Alam.

Many types of seafood are available in South Sea Seafood Restaurant. If you dine at night, you will be greeted with views of planes flying in and out. Amidst all that, if you seat in the open area, you will be breezed by the cool air.

And if you happen to dine in there, you can try the following:

1. Stir-Fry Lobster

As the lobster was quite huge, we had two servings with different cooking styles. One was fried, after removing its meat while the meat, we had it raw, just like sashimi. And it tasted wonders. 

2. Nestum Prawns

I love this dish the best! So fragrant and the prawns were huge!!

3. Otak-Otak

A plate of otak-otak to balance the calories intake

4. River Prawns

4.    5. Salted Egg Squid

6. Sashimi (Must-try!!)

This is the highlight!!! We had both fish and lobster as part of the sashimi platter.

7. Smoked Duck

8. Sweet and Sour Crabs

9. Tofu with Minced Chicken

10. Vegetable

That's pretty huge servings but we finished it like a champ!! 

All in all, I would say South Sea Seafood is an 'expensive' place to have seafood. Given that it is located in the Klang Valley and the quality that they provide, that somehow justifies the price itself.

Price: $$$$

Food: Pork-free, seafood

Service: Excellent

Verdict: Must try their sashimi!!
