My first visit to Taan Korean Steakhouse at The Five was an unforgettable experience! The restaurant's dim lighting added a dramatic touch, though it did challenge my sight a bit. Thankfully, their menu is straightforward, saving me from straining my eyes further.
Now, let’s talk about the food—oh man, every dish was phenomenal! The fresh and vibrant vegetables paired beautifully with the premium beef, creating a perfect harmony of flavors. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of both the food and the experience was absolutely worth it, beyond words, truly!
Beef
Among the dishes we tried, the Korean pancakes stood out for their sophistication. These crispy delights kept us entertained with the satisfying ‘chik-chak’ sounds they made as we indulged in every bite.
The volcano steamed egg was a game-changer. Normally, I'm not a fan of steamed eggs, but this masterpiece at Taan Korean Steakhouse completely won me over. It was nothing short of "sedap!"
Taan Finger Rice
Vegetable Doenjang SoupMango Sorbet
Would I go back? Absolutely, but not as a daily indulgence. With its premium pricing, it's the perfect spot for special occasions when you're looking for a memorable dining experience.
